'Stay Safe, Wear a Mask'
Even though Cantonese is my first language, I've never designed with it before, and I Hungarian is the language my partner speakers and it is a language that does not have a big presence in Australia. It is only spoken natively by one country which is Hungary. Often you will see large bodies of text which has been translated from English using translate apps and the words won't make sense as they don't have any similar expression/grammar.

Posters are being sold with proceeds going to the not for profit organisation Connection Art Space. Connection Art Space works with artists from migrant and asylum seeker backgrounds to host exhibitions and workshops in the city of Greater Dandenong, Victoria. Greater Dandenong is one of the most culturally diverse municipalities in all of Australia, with 2/3 of residents speaking a language other than English at home. Connection Art Space’s values of diversity and community align with those of Mistranslations and we hope to support their plight through the sale of our posters.
